    Your one and a half hour journey will lead you through fields and forests while you, your family and friends relish the beauty of the season and breathe the fresh air. The only sounds here are those of rustling trees, stepping horses and fun-filled laughter. By the time you reach our secluded campfire nestled in a pine grove, you'll be ready to enjoy the refreshments you have brought along. Smores are the most popular snack made campfire side.
  • 1 1/2 hour long ride including 30 minute stop around the campfire is offered during the day and evenings throughout the year. Group rate permits up to 20 guest per sleigh. Reservations Required.
  • Single Horse-Drawn Sleigh Perfect for couples and small families. Experience a one hour long ride through a wintery wonderland of snow. Our sleigh which seats four passengers is a recreation of an 18th century Vis-A-Vis style sleigh complete with antique lamps, maroon cloth seats and a warm sleigh robe.

    We offer hay and sleigh rides to our guests and the general public. Sleigh rides on our farm can either be a romantic trip for two or a group outing. Evening bonfires and a visit with our mini-donkeys, turkey, goats, and assorted other barnyard animals complete the afternoon or evening. Hot cider and the warmth of our barn gift shop melt away any winter chill.
  • Santa Sleigh Ride
    November 21 through December 21
    Come visit Santa's favorite barnyard animals and then ride with Santa out to pick your family Christmas tree.

    The Auto Road along with the Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center is now offering winter sightseeing tours to just above tree-line on Mt. Washington aboard a specially prepared, 8-passenger van! Our SnowCoach has been specially built for the Auto Road with all-wheel drive and has a unique 4-track system designed by Mattracks. Offering an extremely comfortable and stable ride, the tour will take you to just above tree-line where you'll look down into the 5,500 acre Great Gulf Wilderness area and over majestic snow covered peaks in the Northern Presidential range!

    During your one hour horse drawn sleigh ride you'll travel along farm trails past fields and through woods. At a midpoint stop at a secluded campfire, you'll have time to toast marshmallows over the open fire.
  • Upon your return from the sleigh ride, your group will enjoy spending an hour in our "Gathering Room." While you warm your outsides around the wood stove, you can warm your insides with hot chocolate. You may bring your own refreshments or select from our wide range of offerings.
  • Groups of all sizes are welcomed. Reservations are required.
  • Sweetheart Carriage and Sleigh Rides
    Enjoy a private horse drawn sleigh ride in our "Portland Cutter" or "Vis-a-Vis" sleigh. Snuggled under a warm robe you'll be carried across the snow to the sound of jingle bells. At a campfire nestled in the woods, you'll stop briefly to enjoy hot chocolate beside an open fire.
  • After the ride, you'll be served a country meal in a private dining room. Seated in a dining room reserved for you alone and surrounded by antique furniture, you'll have time to savor your meal while soft music plays in the background.
