USAGE:
Free for all Peterborough residents and property owners,
students of Conval district; child's card issued when
applicant can write own name; $68 annual fee for out-of-town
residents who do not qualify above.
COLLECTION:
Approximately 43,000 books, 150 titles of periodicals,
700-plus audiocassettes, 500-plus videocassettes, 150 CDs,
100 pieces of framed art; strength in local history and
genealogy, also scrapbooks on MacDowell Colony.
MISCELLANEOUS:
Annual book sale on Columbus Day weekend; many children's
reading programs; delivery services to home-bound persons.
