USAGE:
Patrons with a KSC library card have unlimited privileges.
Patrons with a KPL card may check out up to six items at a
time.
External
borrower cards may be purchased at the Circulation Desk.
Borrowers under 18 years of age must have a parental
signature. Please have your library card with you when
borrowing library materials. Loan period -- 28 days,
Limits -- 6 items at a time. Fees: $40.00 / year (beginning
July 1, 2002), $25.00 / 6 months.
COLLECTION:
Approximately 180,000 titles with over 300,000 volumes; over
1000 active periodical subscriptions. Special collections include the Preston
Collection, which contains more than 3,700 items dealing
with New Hampshire or the immediate region. Included is a
virtually complete run of all important town and county
histories. This is a non-circulating collection.
Children's Festival Collection, a special non-circulating
collection of autographed copies of books written by
participants of the annual Children's Literature festival.
Curriculum Materials Library, the most comprehensive
collection of vocational education materials in the State. Materials circulate to members of the KSC community and to
educators throughout the State.
Cohen Center for
Holocaust Studies, which contains books and media items devoted
exclusively to the 20th century persecution of European
Jews.
The KSC Orang Asli Archive is a repository for
unpublished documents, films, tapes and other recordings
relevant to Orang Asli peoples and cultures. The Orang
Asli are the indigenous peoples of Peninsular Malaysia and
comprise approximately 17 to 20 groups.
